Tonight I finished up a set of card fronts for a swap due next month. Normally I wouldn’t share ahead of a swap but this is a little different as it is a swap in which we chose a card from the new catalog and CASED it exactly. The idea is that demos can get real samples of things found in the catalog without having to make them all themselves. I have another set to finish up for the same swap but will get started on that tomorrow.
The card I chose features the new Greetings, Earthling set. It is a 3×3 notecard and the recipe is given below the pic.
Stamp set – Greetings, Earthling!
Cardstock - Bashful Blue and Whisper White Textured. Watercolor paper.
Inks – Black Stazon. Images were colored using ink pads (certainly celery, going grey, bashful blue, bermuda bay) and an aqua painter
Accessories – dimensionals
I also got started on the journal I am decorating for Rhiannon as a birthday gift. I still need to add her inital to the front in a frame (waiting on the stamp set to be delivered Monday) but this is what I have done so far. She is going to love this new Kaleidoscope DP and I made her a little matching pen.

If you keep the earthling samples coming. You are going to convince me yet I need this set. I think my nephew’s would love it! Great job recreating. I don’t envy all the cutting if it was for a swap though.
