Hot Chocolate pouches

Monday, October 26th, 2009

I have been slowly working on things for the craft fair next month. My project yesterday was to get the hot chocolate pouches done. I tried to keep them fairly simple to keep the cost down. I think my favorites are those with snowmen on.

Again, sorry for the lack of details. Everything is Stampin’ Up!, current and retired and questions about the pouches are always welcome.

I just need to add some little “For you” tags and they will be all done. My project for tomorrow will be finishing up my Abby Cadabby cards. Not as cool as the Cookie Monster cards I’ve seen but still cute.

Making a start

Sunday, September 27th, 2009

The director of the daycare my friend Jill & I use  has agreed to hold a little craft fair in November. This will be the first time  either of us  have ever tackled anything like this but I’m hoping that it works out so we can maybe do another next year.

We decided to keep things as inexpensive as possible and geared towards little gifts that people can buy for the holidays. I made a start last night and this is what I have come up with so far. These magnets are just so easy to make. Some are for the fair and some are gifts for Steve’s aunt. She loves animals and I know that these will be perfect for her.

After that, I started making some tea bag holders. I am going to make a few different fall designs to hold yummy Pumpkin Spice tea bags (Stash Tea) and then some winter designs for the Holiday Chai Spice tea bags (Stash Tea). So far, I have come up with these two designs. The first has a velcro fastener, the second is tied with linen thread.

Making these little things is just so much fun. I may have to make lots more to give as my own gifts.
