Stamp Like a Moose

Firstly – I have my pretty blog back!! Thank you Michelle (Laycock)  for restoring it to it’s full glory after the oops!!

On to the cards. A few weeks ago I had a small class to show some friends (“new” stampers) a few basic stamping and coloring techniques.  Rather than just try stuff out on scrap, we made each “technique” into a card so that the class was functional.

 Card 1 - Designed to show three things – Two Step Stamping, Stamping off and masking.

Stamp Sets – Greenhouse Garden, Sincere Salutations

Cardstock & DP – Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Whisper White. Razzleberry lemonade DP

Inks – Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Dusty Durango

Accessories – Designer Label punch, Mellow Moss taffeta ribbon, Dimensionals.

Card 2 - The Rock ‘n’ roll technique – love how it looks with this stamp!

Stamp Sets – Eastern blooms, Thank You Kindly

Cardstock & DP – Soft Suede, Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry, Whisper White. Dusty Durango DP

Inks – Soft Suede, Apricot Appeal, Dusty Durango

Accessories – Big Shot Top Note die, Soft Suede polka dot ribbon, Tri flower punch, White gel pen, Dimensionals, glue dots.

Card 3 -demonstrated coloring an image with different colored markers and watermarking.

Cardstock & DP – Almost Amethyst, Mellow Moss, Whisper White. Tea Party DP

Inks – Almost Amethyst, Elegant Eggplant. Brocade Blue, Mellow Moss and Almost Amethyst markers

Accessories – Whisper White taffeta ribbon, Corner rounder punch, Dimensionals, self-adhesive pearl

Card 4 - My favorite,  used to demonstrate watercoloring using classic ink pads and the aquapainter.

Cardstock & DP – Naturals White, Chocolate Chip, Watercolor paper. Old Olive DP

Inks – Black Stazon, Old Olive, Ruby Red

Accessories – Paper piercer and Mat pack, Dimensionals.

Card 5 - showing how to color with ink pads and Blender pens.

Cardstock & DP – Brilliant Blue, Temptin Turquoise, Real Red, Whisper White. Kaleidoscope DP.

Inks – Black Stazon, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Bordering Blue. Silver gel pen

Accessories – Dimensionals, Star brad

Card 6 –  Poppin Pastels – quick and simple.

Stamp Sets  – Medallion, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Cardstock & DP – Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, Whisper White

Inks – Versamark, Night of Navy. Pastels

Accessories – Bashful Blue ribbon, Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware.

Phew! I’m catching up slowly. Next up will be the projects from my spring stamp-a-stack and swap cards.
